MSC hike its transatlantic rates

THE MEDITERRANEAN Shipping Company (MSC) is raising rates on cargo travelling between the US and Europe from 1 April.

On services between the US and Europe, MSC is to increase rates by $200 per teu and $350 per feu on all cargo moving from Canada to north-west Europe, including Scandinavia and the Baltic region, and to the western Mediterranean.

From the US and Mexico, these rates will increase by $150 per teu and $250 per feu.
